Twinbat connects people who share a birth moment. That only works if the place is worth being in. These are the rules, what happens when somebody breaks them, and how to appeal if we get it wrong.
Why these exist
Twinbat matches people on something they did not choose and cannot change. That makes the connection unusually easy to start and unusually easy to abuse: a stranger already knows your birthday, your birth city, and often the hour. Everything below follows from taking that seriously.
These guidelines apply everywhere on Twinbat — profiles, posts, comments, circles, connection requests and messages.
What we expect
Be a real person
One account, your own identity, your own photos. Impersonating somebody else is not allowed, and neither is a profile built from someone else’s pictures.
Take no for an answer
A connection request that is declined is answered. A conversation somebody leaves is over. Blocking is final.
Assume the other person is real too
Everyone here shares a birth moment with somebody. Talk to them the way you would want to be talked to on a day when your own chart is being read back to you.
What is not allowed
These are removable on sight, and most of them end an account rather than warn it.
Anything involving a minor
Twinbat is 18+. Child sexual abuse and exploitation content is reported to the authorities and ends the account permanently, first offence, no exceptions. See our child safety standards.
Harassment
Repeated unwanted contact, pile-ons, threats, or contacting somebody through a second account after being blocked.
Hate
Attacks on people for who they are — race, religion, caste, sex, gender, sexuality, disability, nationality.
Sexual content without consent
Unsolicited sexual images or messages. Romantic matching is opt-in on both sides and is not an invitation.
Scams and solicitation
Investment pitches, crypto, paid readings, recruitment into anything. Business networking is a mode people turn on; it is not a licence to pitch people who did not.
Spam
Bulk identical messages, mass connection requests, links posted for reach rather than for the conversation.
Sharing somebody else’s data
Screenshots of private messages, another member’s birth details, or anything from a profile that was shared with you rather than published.
Astrology, advice and harm
Readings on Twinbat are for reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and they must not be used as though they were.
Do not use a chart against somebody
Telling another member their chart means they are dangerous, unemployable, unmarriageable, or that a relationship is doomed is harassment with astrology attached. It is treated as harassment.
Do not sell predictions
Offering paid readings, remedies, gemstones or rituals to other members is solicitation.
If somebody is in danger
Do not handle it alone. Report it, and encourage them to contact local emergency services. Twinbat is not a crisis service.
AI answers
Twinbat AI interprets your computed chart. It does not compute one, and it can still be wrong.
If an answer is offensive, unsafe or plainly false, report it from the answer itself. Those reports are read by a person, and nobody is penalised for what the AI said to them.
What happens when a rule is broken
Reports are read by a person. If one is upheld, it becomes a strike, and strikes escalate:
First — a warning
Recorded, explained, nothing restricted. Most accounts stop here.
Second — restricted for a week
You can read Twinbat and see this page. You cannot post or send connection requests.
Third — suspended for a month
The account is paused.
Fourth — closed
The account is closed.
Strikes expire after a year. Child safety findings are outside this ladder entirely: they do not accumulate, they do not expire, and the first one closes the account.
Appeals
Every decision can be appealed once, including a closure, within 30 days. Write to appeals@twinbat.com from the address on the account.
A person reads it. If the appeal is upheld the strike is removed rather than merely served — it stops counting toward anything later, because an account that was found not to have done something should not be one step nearer a penalty for it.
Reporting
Every post, comment, profile, message and AI answer can be reported from inside the app. Reporting is free and always will be, and so is blocking.
