Twinbat is a social product for adults built around birth data. These terms cover what you can and cannot do here, what our AI readings are and are not, how subscriptions work, and what happens if something goes wrong. Nothing here removes rights you have under your local consumer law.
By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Twinbat. Where local mandatory consumer law gives you stronger rights than these terms, that law wins.
You must be at least 18. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure, and for activity under your account.
Do not:
Harass or threaten anyone
Including sustained unwanted contact after someone disengages.
Impersonate
Misrepresent who you are, or falsify birth details to reach people you would not otherwise match with.
Post unlawful or harmful content
Hate speech, sexual content involving minors, incitement to violence, or content that is illegal where you or the recipient are.
Solicit or scam
Requests for money, investment schemes, or moving people to another platform to defraud them.
Publish other people's private information
Including another user’s birth time, birthplace, location or contact details.
Scrape, reverse engineer, or automate
No bots, no bulk collection, no circumventing rate limits or paid features.
You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and transmit it strictly to operate the service. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups until they rotate out, or where we must keep something to comply with law or to handle a safety report.
You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
Twinbat computes real astrological charts and uses AI to interpret them. This is offered for self-reflection and entertainment.
It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or emergency advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not use it to make decisions about your health, your money, your legal position or your safety. AI output can be wrong, and astrological interpretation is not a prediction of events.
If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. The app surfaces regional helplines, but it is not a crisis service and no one at Twinbat monitors journal entries in real time.
Twinbat may help you find people nearby or attend events. We do not run background checks and cannot verify that anyone is who they say they are.
Meet in public the first time, tell someone where you are going, do not share your home address, and leave whenever you want. You meet other users at your own risk.
Auto-renewal
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
Where to cancel
Purchases made in the app are managed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled through your store account. Purchases made on the web are cancelled in your Twinbat billing settings.
Statutory withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Where you ask us to begin immediately and the service is fully performed within that period, the right may be lost — we will tell you before you confirm.
Store policies
Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by Apple’s and Google’s policies, which we cannot override.
Price changes
We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.
Content is screened automatically and reviewed by people when reported. Depending on severity and history we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account.
We will tell you what action was taken and why, and you can appeal by writing to safety@twinbat.com. Distress is never treated as a violation — writing about a hard time will not get your content removed.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile. We may suspend or end your account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where required by law. If we do so without cause and you have paid for a period you have not used, we will refund the unused portion.
Twinbat is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Twinbat is established, without displacing the mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.
Please contact us first — most disputes are resolved faster that way than through a formal process. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
