Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not return a past payment. Which route applies depends on where you bought — Apple and Google run their own refund processes, and we run ours for purchases made on twinbat.com.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid Twinbat subscriptions, one-time digital reports, consumable credits, boosts and other paid digital features. It explains cancellation and refund handling by purchase channel. It does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
2. Cancelling is not the same as a refund
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal. It does not automatically return a past payment. Unless a refund or a platform rule ends access earlier, paid benefits remain available until the end of the current billing period.
Uninstalling Twinbat does not cancel a subscription, and neither does deleting your account. Both leave the billing arrangement with Apple or Google in place. Cancel through the platform you bought from first.
3. Apple App Store purchases
Apple administers refund requests for purchases billed through the App Store. Request a refund by signing in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choosing Request a refund, selecting the reason and submitting the Twinbat purchase. Apple decides eligibility under its own rules and applicable law. We cannot guarantee or override Apple’s decision.
Cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting your Twinbat account does not by itself cancel an Apple-billed subscription.
4. Google Play purchases
For purchases billed through Google Play, you may use Google’s refund process or contact support@twinbat.com with the Google Play order number. Google or Twinbat may process the request according to Google Play rules, this policy and applicable law. Google states that refund eligibility varies by item, timing, payment method and location.
Cancel a Google Play subscription in your Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your Twinbat account does not by itself cancel a Google Play-billed subscription.
5. Web purchases
For a purchase made directly on twinbat.com, submit a request to support@twinbat.com within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase or renewal. Include the account email, transaction identifier, purchase date, item and reason. Do not send complete card details or passwords.
We will normally approve a full refund for duplicate charges, for charges for a benefit that was not delivered because of a verified technical failure, or for a timely request covering an unused initial subscription. For a renewal requested within 7 days we will consider use since renewal, and your mandatory local rights. Material use of premium discovery, included comparisons, boosts, reports or credits may reduce or remove discretionary refund eligibility.
6. Reports, credits and boosts
A Deep Comparison, insight pack, boost or credit is normally non-refundable once it has been generated, activated, consumed or materially delivered. An unused web purchase may be refunded when requested within 7 calendar days. Store-billed purchases follow the relevant store process. If we fail to deliver a purchased item after reasonable troubleshooting, we may restore the item, reissue a credit or refund the affected purchase.
A profile boost increases eligible distribution for the described period. It does not guarantee views, connections, messages or outcomes. A low response rate alone is not a service failure and does not create refund eligibility.
7. Free trials and promotions
A trial shows its duration, conversion date and post-trial price before you activate it. Cancel before the displayed deadline to avoid the first paid charge.
Promotions, coupon value, bonus credits and free benefits have no cash value and are not refundable. If a paid bundle is partially used, an approved refund may be reduced by the value of consumed benefits where the law allows.
9. How refunds are processed
Approved web refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. We aim to decide complete requests within 10 business days. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to post funds. Store refunds follow Apple’s or Google’s timing. Taxes, currency conversion and bank charges are handled according to the original payment channel and applicable law.
10. Chargebacks and abuse
Contact support before starting a chargeback so we can investigate. We may suspend the associated paid benefit while a charge is disputed.
We may restrict accounts involved in fraudulent purchases, repeated consumption followed by refund requests, false claims or chargeback abuse. None of this limits a lawful right to dispute an unauthorised or incorrect charge.
11. How to request a refund
- Identify the purchase channel shown on your receipt: Apple, Google Play or twinbat.com.
- Use Apple’s refund path for Apple purchases. Use Google Play or support@twinbat.com for Google Play. Use support@twinbat.com for web purchases.
- Provide your account email, order or transaction identifier, purchase date, amount, item and reason.
- Do not send a password, one-time code, full card number or identity document unless we have given you a secure channel and explained why it is necessary.
- Keep the case reference and respond to any reasonable request for missing transaction information.
12. Your local rights
Some countries provide cooling-off, withdrawal, repair, replacement or refund rights for digital services. Those mandatory rights apply even where this policy states a narrower discretionary rule. Where immediate digital performance affects a statutory withdrawal right, we will ask for any consent and acknowledgement your local law requires before delivering.
