• Read the profile and the score explanations. A score is not a background check.
• Look for contradictions, urgent pressure, copied stories, rapid declarations of feeling, requests for money, or attempts to move off Twinbat immediately.
• Keep exact home, work and routine details private until trust is earned.
• Use reporting and blocking at the first sign of threats, fraud, coercion or sexual misconduct. You do not need to be certain.

Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, banking credentials, one-time codes or identity documents to someone you met through Twinbat.

Twinbat staff will never ask for your password or your sign-in code. Treat investment, emergency, travel, customs, medical and account-verification requests as high risk — those are the stories that work, which is why they are the ones used.

• Meet in a public place and arrange your own transport.
• Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to be back.
• Do not share your home address for an early meeting.
• Keep control of your food, drinks, belongings and devices.
• Leave immediately if you feel pressured or unsafe. You do not owe anyone politeness at the cost of your safety.

Consent must be informed, voluntary, specific and reversible. A match, a message, a prior meeting or a relationship does not imply ongoing consent, and consent to one thing is not consent to another.

Twinbat prohibits sexual coercion, non-consensual intimate content and sexual exploitation. Reports of these are treated as high priority.

A verification label confirms only the step it describes. It does not tell you anything about criminal history, relationship status, employment, income, intentions or future behaviour.

A verified account is still an account belonging to a stranger. Continue to use your judgement.

Report the profile, message or content inside Twinbat, so the relevant identifiers are attached to the report — a screenshot emailed to us carries much less of what a moderator needs. Choose a category, describe what happened, and block the account if you want to.
